Another “Donut” in Town

In our constant obsession with all things doughnut, we came across a little blog called, The Donut Project, which actually has nothing to do with doughnuts at all. But turns out that Donut Project is a pretty cool design inspiration site created by a group of young designers who aspire to inspire.

The Donut Project basically shares fun art, design and interactive pieces. A recent post on Cinemagraphs had us doing double takes. Seemingly stagnant photographs suddenly feature movement. Utterly intriguing. The group also designs downloadable desktop wallpaper, which is a fun way to incorporate some quality aesthetics into your world, even if you’re not a designer.

While the Chicago-based project has nothing to do with eating tasty doughnuts, and actually takes it’s name from a design school project the founders endured, we’re still fans.

NB: The Doughnut Vault will be closed Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5.
